Job brief
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our team! As a Junior Estimator, you will be tasked with reviewing and interpreting our data and reports to determine the labor and cost associated with our ventures.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed and in-depth research on our various ventures.
- Gather quotations and invoices from suppliers and contractors.
- Review cost estimates for each of our ventures.
- Create and monitor budgets.
- Identify the costs that will be associated with a venture (including labor, materials, equipment, etc.).
- Perform regular risk analyses and help the company prepare for any losses.
- Prepare and present detailed reports regarding finances to your superiors.
- Assist senior estimators with pertinent tasks.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in the accounting field or another related field is required
- Must be incredibly competent with numbers and mathematics
- Must be able to efficiently use a variety of computer programs to track and organize financial reports
- Must be able to write and understand financial reports and risk analyses
- Must pay close attention to details and be adept at solving problems
- Must display excellent communication skills and act as a team player
