Why does it matter? 

Sending this email–and sending it promptly–is crucial to ensuring your best bet at securing a favorable candidate for a job opening, as it lets the candidate know that they are valued. While we have no control over how many offers a candidate gets elsewhere, we do have control over how we treat the candidate.

When to send?

Send this email as soon as you have decided that the candidate is ready for the next step of the recruitment process.

What to include?

  • A clear message that they have missed the interview date
  • A clear message asking the person to confirm whether they are still interested

We are sending you this email to confirm that you are scheduled for a subsequent second interview on [PREFERRED DATE AND TIME]. 

For your reference, our address is [VENUE ADDRESS]. Kindly arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the schedueld interview date and time.

Please let us know if you are not available during the aforementioned date and time, and we will reschedule your interview accordingly.
