Job brief
We are in search of a skilled Construction Project Manager to add to our team! In this position, you will be regularly working with architects and engineers to plan and see a construction project through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Play an active role in all planning processes of a project.
- Ensure that all needed licenses and permits are obtained before construction begins.
- Coordinate with workers and contractors to ensure milestones are completed on schedule.
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure the needed labor and materials can be procured within the set budget.
- Aid in the hiring of needed labor to complete the project.
- Ensure that the job site remains a safe work environment for all workers.
Requirements
- Past work experience as a construction manager is strongly preferred
- A BS in a related field is required
- In-depth knowledge of a variety of construction methods and practices
- Up-to-date knowledge of all rules and regulations as they apply to construction
- Excellent planner
- Able to look forward to mitigating risks and crisis
- Must be a strong leader and communicator
- Must possess superb time management and planning skills
