Visual Designer job description

Job brief

We are looking for a Visual Designer to design original graphics meeting user interface requirements and with the goal of improving user experience.

Responsibilities

• Discuss with the project team to define requirements.
• Process the output of paint and sketch applications through utilizing visual design software.
• Design original graphics that improve the user experience.
• Enhance digital images through the application of sketching techniques.
• Submit drafts for approval.
• Develop prototypes that maximize visual consistency.
• Stay up to date on developments in visual design software and tools as well as industry trends.
• Collaborate with other teams to create transformative product visuals that make the brand ‘top-tier’.
• Responsible for the management and execution of all visual product assets.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Senior Designers.

Requirements

• Degree in Visual Arts or Graphic Design
• 3+ years of experience creating artistically interesting designs that are appealing to the consumers
• Understanding of designing software such as Photoshop and Illustrator
• Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML or Javascript would be a plus
• Extremely creative
• Possess an ability to handle multiple projects at any one instance
