Terms & Privacy Notice

This document governs your use of the job application features and candidate portals provided by Manatal © (“Manatal,” “we,” or “us”), collectively referred to as the “CareersPage Services.” These CareersPage Services allow you to apply for job openings on the career pages of our customers (the “Customer”) and provide you with the ability to access, manage, and maintain your candidate profile and application history.

By using the CareersPage Services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge that your personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

1. Our Role and Your Privacy

CareersPage Services provide the technology that allows Customers to host career pages and manage job applications via the CareersPage Services.

• Data Roles: Each Customer you interact with (by applying or signing up to their portal) acts as an independent Data Controller for the information they access. CareersPage Services acts as the Data Processor, providing the infrastructure to facilitate these interactions.
• Unified Candidate Profile: When you create an account or submit an application through the CareersPage Services, a profile is generated to centralize your professional information. To maintain data consistency across all your interactions, this profile is automatically synchronized and shared with every Customer whose CareersPage Services you have previously engaged with or will apply to in the future using the same email address. This process ensures that any update made to your profile in one portal is immediately reflected across all your active application histories and candidate profiles associated with your email address within the CareersPage Services ecosystem.
• Privacy Policy: Our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the CareersPage Services, you acknowledge that your data will be processed as described in that Policy.
• Customer Policies: Because the Customer controls your application data, we recommend you also review the specific privacy policy of the company to which you are applying when available.

2. Service Eligibility

The CareersPage Services are not for use by anyone under the age of 18. By using the CareersPage Services, you represent that you meet this requirement. If local law requires you to be older for us to process your information, you may not use the CareersPage Services unless you meet that age requirement.

3. Terms of Use

You agree to provide accurate information and comply with all laws. You agree you will not:

• Misrepresent your identity or use another person’s account;
• Bypass security features, access controls, or use limits of the CareersPage Services;
• Use the CareersPage Services to develop a competitive product;
• Reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the CareersPage Services;
• Rent, lease, sell, or monetize the CareersPage Services or related data;
• Use automated means (robots, spiders, etc.) to access the CareersPage Services.

4. Authentication & Security

To access your application history or candidate profile within the CareersPage Services, we use a secure "magic link" sent to your email. No permanent password is stored by CareersPage Services for these CareersPage Services. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own email account.

5. Availability and Limits

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the CareersPage Services at any time. CareersPage Services have no obligation to store or maintain your information except as required by law or as noted in our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access if you breach this Agreement, misuse the CareersPage Services, or for any other reason or for no reason at all.

6. License to Your Content

You grant CareersPage Services a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, copy, and process all content you submit (such as delivering your application to the Customer).

You further acknowledge and agree that when you update your information or submit a new application, these updates will be reflected across your profile for all Customers with whom you have an existing application history or portal registration within the CareersPage Services.

7. Your Rights, Deletion, and Portability

As detailed in our Privacy Policy, you have rights regarding your data processed through the CareersPage Services.

• Application Data: To delete a specific job application, you must contact the Customer directly.
• Unified Profile Deletion: To delete the unified profile associated with your email across the CareersPage Services, please contact us through our Contact Us page.
• Data Portability: To receive a copy of the data contained within your unified profile, please contact us through our Contact Us page.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

AS-IS Basis: The CareersPage Services are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this agreement, Manatal is released from all liability for any claims arising from the use of CareersPage Services. Under no circumstances shall Manatal be held liable for any amount, regardless of the nature of the claim.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement and your use of the CareersPage Services are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Singapore.
