  • Microinvalidations Behaviors that exclude, negate or nullify the feelings, experiences, and identities of individuals or groups, such as denying the existence of systemic discrimination.

Strategies for Addressing Microaggressions

To address microaggressions in the workplace, employers can implement these various strategies.

  • Training - Providing employees with training on unconscious bias, diversity, and inclusion can help raise awareness of microaggressions and encourage more inclusive behavior.
