When to send

The timing of when to send a training reminder email can depend on the purpose of the email. If it’s simply a practical reminder, then sending it a few (2-3) working days in advance should be about right. For optional online courses, one reminder about a week before the deadline should be enough. If the course is mandatory, consider sending out a second reminder at least 3 days ahead of the deadline to ensure people have time to take action if they haven’t already.
