We are looking for a hardworking Dock Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading goods from incoming and outgoing trailers, ensuring that all warehouse operations run smoothly.

Dock Worker responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo from trucks and delivery vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Organize and store products in the warehouse according to company procedures.
• Check goods to ensure they are not damaged or missing.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to transport goods around the warehouse.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations, including the use of protective gear and proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that goods are properly packaged and labeled.
• Assist with inventory management, counting, and reconciling products to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs
• Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Knowledge of warehousing software and inventory management systems is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary
