Job brief

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and professional ER Nurse to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and be adept at working in a pressurized and fast-paced environment. The role's key focus is to provide accurate assessment skills, high-level care, and treatment to patients and identify patient needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct accurate assessments appropriate for the age of the patient.
  • Perform and document ongoing assessments, including observation, physical exams, laboratory/tests, and patient response to procedural intervention.
  • Participate in the identification and clarification of patient needs, as shown by care planning, to achieve optimal patient treatment and results.
  • Implement, review, and revise care plans according to changes noted in the patient’s status.
  • Implement and execute a plan of care according to identified physical and psychological needs.
  • Prioritize own workload in line with patient needs.
  • Coordinate and document appropriate discharge notes, planning, and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
  • Share knowledge and act as a professional resource to other members of the health care team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Achieve a passing score on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) or relevant exam for your country or state
  • Active Nursing license as required in your country/state
  • Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong work prioritization skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Physically able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Resilient to working in a high pressured and fast-paced working environment
