You must have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure.

Insurance Agent responsibilities

• Establish strong client relationships and understand their insurance needs.
• Offer appropriate insurance policies that fit clients' needs, coverage, and budget.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales.
• Provide customized insurance advice and counseling to clients.
• Evaluate claims and facilitate settlements to ensure clients receive maximum coverage.
• Continuously seek new business opportunities and build client relationships through networking and referrals.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding policy changes or renewals.
• Keep accurate records of clients' policies, claims, and payments.

Requirements

• Proven work experience in insurance sales or a similar industry
• A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or any other related field
• Sound knowledge of the insurance industry, policies, regulations, and products
• Must hold a valid Insurance Agent’s license
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and client management software
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
