Job Brief 

We're searching for an accomplished and forward-thinking Executive Director to take charge of our non-profit organization. 

The Executive Director will have various responsibilities, such as fundraising, program creation, financial management, and staff management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to guide the organization's growth and development.
  • Lead and motivate staff and volunteers to achieve the organization's goals.
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
  • Manage the organization's finances, including budgeting, financial reporting, and oversight of grants and contracts.
  • Develop and oversee programs that align with the organization's mission and strategic plan.
  • Cultivate relationships with community leaders, donors, and other stakeholders to raise awareness of the organization's work and secure funding.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards.
  • Serve as the public face of the organization and represent it at events and in the media.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., non-profit management, business, public administration)
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in non-profit leadership, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and volunteers
  • Strong fundraising skills, including experience with major gift solicitation and grant writing
  • Excellent strategic planning and program development skills
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and ethical standards in the non-profit sector
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community partners
  • Passion for the non-profit sector and a commitment to the organization's mission
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
