Product Analyst job brief

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Product Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing our product’s performance and suggesting improvements to enhance user experience and engagement. As a Product Analyst, the successful candidate will work closely with our product development team to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and grow our business.

Product Analyst responsibilities

Collect and analyze data related to our product and user behavior to identify opportunities for improvement.
Conduct A/B tests and other experiments to determine the impact of proposed changes to our product.
Collaborate with the product development team to design and implement new features or modifications to existing ones.
Monitor product performance and suggest adjustments to meet business goals, such as increasing conversions or retention rates.
Understand and interpret user feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement.
Develop and maintain product documentation, including requirements, user stories, and use cases
Stay up-to-date on market trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in product development and analytics.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in a product analyst or similar role
A strong grasp of SQL and data analysis tools such as Excel, R, or Tableau
Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
A passion for data-driven decision-making and a willingness to dive deep into product data to identify opportunities for improvement
Experience working in an agile software development environment is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to see the big picture and identify solutions that balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals
