Retail Banker Job Description

Job Brief 

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Banker to join our team. 

As a Retail Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and promoting our products and services to help our customers meet their financial goals.

In this role, you will work directly with clients to identify their banking needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and build strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with account opening, closing, and maintenance.
• Identify and recommend appropriate products and services to clients based on their financial goals.
• Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Actively promote bank products and services through effective sales techniques and customer education.
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies and regulations.
• Contribute to a positive and cohesive team environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in finance or business preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking or related field
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build strong customer relationships
• Ability to identify and recommend appropriate financial products and services to clients
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other financial software
